Expectations for Students

In order to have a class where each student can learn and complete daily tasks in a productive atmosphere, every student is expected to:

  • Arrive on time and be prepared

  • Work productively in class

  • Complete ALL assigned work

  • Contribute to a respectful classroom environment

Current Events

The main issues affecting our world will be discussed on a daily basis in class. Students should come to class with knowledge of what is occurring currently in the world around them in order to offer opinions, thoughts and questions to create dynamic class discussions. Students are also responsible for presenting their own current events once a term. A sign-up sheet will be provided at a later date.
